The growth of armed banditry is worrisome to the security departments in Nigeria especially during this covid-19 lockdown. The outbreak of the novel corona virus was noticed and recognized by the European nations as at December 2019; though most countries were reluctant to apply necessary preventive measures to control the spread of the virus.

The spread of this corona virus pandemic was as a result of inter-country travels. Nigeria observed her first case when an Italian immigrant took ill to this corona virus pandemic. Ever since then the number of infected cases continue to rise especially in states like Lagos and Abuja. The reason why this virus spread in mostly in Lagos and Abuja is because of her population and also has a strong relationship between inter-country travels. Every day we lots of roll out of articles especially those related to undergraduate project topics that are based on corona virus and its effect.

After the enforcement of the social distancing rule failed in most of the states with low income earners the federal government of Nigeria then acts quickly to enforce total lockdown in various states. But the enforcement of total lockdown has started causing some sort of unrest in Nigeria.

Armed banditry is violence driven principally by the criminal intent to steal and plunder. It is motivated by the quest for economic accumulation. Armed banditry has stated in Lagos state where bandits will invade people’s houses and steal items like food, money etc.

These armed bandits can also transmit this virus to families they rob thereby putting those families at risks. If the federal government through the Nigeria security department can improve the security measures adopted to keep the state safe them there will be for Nigeria to come out of this war with covid-19.

Apart from the above topic under discussion I will implore all Nigeria to try to take maximum rest because that is the surest way to improvement in the immunity level of an individual.

See Health Education Project Topics that are related to immunity.
